The J-series are grouped by function, and the J2 family is dedicated to track information, with J2.0 through J2.6 defined for PPLI track transmissions. Because PPLI data requires a dedicated set of message formats, the correct range is J2.0-J2.6, which encompasses the PPLI track messages. The other J-series ranges are used for different data types and do not convey PPLI track information, so they aren’t used for PPLI tracks.
